ADVANCED ENERGY FLOW MANAGEMENT

Senergy EMS – Energy Management System

Senergy EMS (Energy Management System) is an advanced solution designed to fully and efficiently manage energy flows in plants equipped with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), optimizing energy storage and release based on demand and operating conditions.

The product is a compact electrical panel, designed to be installed directly at the electricity grid delivery point. Equipped with a network analyzer, the system can interface with major brands of inverters, batteries, and sensors needed to monitor and optimize energy consumption.

Senergy EMS panel

Processing speed: up to 100 ms

Ultra-fast hardware processing cycle: for instantaneous responses.

Power regulation: P/Q

Integrated and dynamic management of Active Power (P) and Reactive Power (Q).

PoC Control: Real-Time

Real-time dynamic modulation of feed-in and consumption thresholds.

CONTROL STRATEGIES AND PERFORMANCE

Benefits and features

Peak Shaving

Peak shaving via batteries (BESS) to
avoid exceeding the contractual
power at the PoC.

Band Shaving

Maintaining the exchanged power at the
PoC within a predefined tolerance band
to stabilize power flows.

Zero Feed-In and Zero Injection

Limits or zeros feed-in to the grid to any desired value, with customizable safety margins and instantaneous modulation of PV and BESS.

Self-consumption maximization

Priority management of the BESS to store photovoltaic surplus and automatically
cover plant consumption.

Manual and remote control

Management from graphical interface or via external setpoints from Trader/SCADA via standard protocols (Modbus, IEC, OPCUA).

Phase & Load Balancing

Dynamic power distribution across phases
to prevent grid imbalances and
optimize battery lifespan.

A COMPLETE SOLUTION

CCI/PPC + EMS

Higeco More combines in a single hardware and software architecture the functions of CCI/PPC for grid compliance and the Energy Management System (EMS) for advanced flow and BESS storage management.

Technical advantage

A single point of contact at the PoC guarantees zero control conflicts between the grid-prescribed control (CCI/PPC) and the automatic battery optimization (EMS). The unified architecture eliminates the need to convert data between different devices, reducing response latency to a minimum.

Economic advantage

Having a single hardware cabinet to install and wire makes it possible to halve maintenance costs and installation time. You will have a single technical point of contact responsible for both grid compliance and ROI optimization for the plant.

Higeco More turnkey service

From defining control policies in the preliminary phase, to hardware configuration, up to commissioning and final on-site testing.
