COMPANY POLICIES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Our company vision
According to the definition proposed in the report “Our Common Future”, published in 1987 by the World Commission on Environment and Development of the United Nations Environment Programme, sustainable development is a development capable of ensuring the satisfaction of the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
In this definition, the concept of sustainability is linked to three “pillars” (the so-called triple bottom line) that make the development of economic activities and the protection of the environment compatible:
- PLANET – Environmental sustainability – ensuring the availability and quality of natural resources
- PEOPLE – Social sustainability – ensuring quality of life, safety and services for citizens
- PROFIT – Economic sustainability – ensuring economic efficiency and income for businesses
Grasping the underlying vision, HIGECO MORE has implemented an organizational model that has resulted in the certification of the environmental management system according to the UNI EN ISO 14001 standards, in the adoption of a code of ethics, with a specific section dedicated to anti-corruption policies, of a policy for Corporate Social Responsibility and in the registration for the participatory social monitoring SAW (https://www.ciseonweb.it/impresa-etica/monitoraggio-partecipativo/).
The picture, aimed at a global approach, is completed by the certification of the company quality system according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 standards, the adoption of a safety management system inspired by the UNI EN ISO 45001 standards and an information security management system structured on the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 27001 standards.
